What’s included in the King's Day boat package?

King's Day is best celebrated on the Amsterdam canals. All around you, boats filled with music, people in orange, crowds of people dancing along the quays… and you are right in the middle of it, but from the best spot: your own private boat.

Onboard, no one needs to think about anything except enjoying the city-wide party. An experienced captain guides you through the crowds on canals in a relaxed manner, while the atmosphere builds naturally. During the 4 hours of sailing, the open bar is ready with unlimited beer, wine, and soft drinks, the party speaker is turned on (you can choose your own music), and before you know it, everyone is singing along, dancing, and toasting. Exactly how King's Day should feel.

You are allowed to bring your own food. Handy for snacks in between or your favorite treats to complete the party.

What time do you sail on King's Day 2026?

On April 27, 2026, there are two sailing times of four hours:

• 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM

• 3:30 PM – 7:30 PM

Do you choose a cozy start to the day or the peak of the party later in the day? Whichever time you choose, it will be a four-hour long and enjoyable party on the canals.

How much does a King's Day boat for 30 people in Amsterdam cost?

Renting a King's Day boat in Amsterdam costs €4,500 for four hours of sailing, including a captain, unlimited drinks, and a music system. If you share this with 30 people, you have your own party spot in the middle of the canals for a surprisingly low amount per person, without the crowd on the street, but with all the atmosphere of King's Day around you.

Is the King's Day boat open or covered?

During King's Day, we prefer to sail with an open boat so you can truly experience the party on the Amsterdam canals up close. Only if very bad weather is forecasted do we opt for a boat that is partially or fully covered. This way, it remains comfortable onboard, and the party can continue regardless of the weather. Because one thing is certain: on King's Day, we won't let a little rain ruin the atmosphere.

Important information about availability and cancellation

The number of King's Day party boats in Amsterdam is limited each year and sells out quickly.
Anyone who wants to ensure a private boat on April 27, 2026, should act promptly.

Bookings on King's Day are non-refundable. Once booked, the reservation cannot be cancelled, and paid amounts will not be refunded.
